Francia Raisa

Raisa's acting career began in junior high when she started modeling and did commercials. She was a guest on sitcoms American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa was in Lil' Romeo's music video "My Girlfriend" in the role of Tamy in 2004. She also appeared in the Iyaz music video "So Large". One month into the senior year of her high school She was cast in her first role in the spotlight, opposite Hayden Panetteire in Bring It On : All or Nothing. The actress also appeared in the Nickelodeon movie Shredderman Rules, where she portrayed Isabel, and in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. From July 2008 until the end of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager from June 2013 she played the character Adrian Lee. In 2009, Raisa appeared as a guest star on USA Network's In Plain Sight. She as well co-starred with David in Boo which was a film that was shown on YouTube. in 2013, Raisa starred in the Christmas-themed film Christmas Bounty alongside Mike "The Miz" Mizanin. Raisa, August 2012. From 2018-2022, Raisa starred on the Freeform show Grown-ish. It was produced by Blackish creator Kenya Barris. She was a part of the show's first four seasons, leaving the show following her character's graduation in the fourth season. She also appeared in freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, with Tyra banks. Raisa has joined the cast of How I Met Your Mother spinoff How I Met Your Father in May 2021. The show was launched on Hulu January 18th, 2022. In February of 2022, the show was renewed for a 20-episode second season.
